Salty Serenity Duplex is a pet friendly, cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house located at ground level. This house is a 4 minute walk to the warm sand of Cocoa Beach and began operating as a vacation rental on June 15, 2018 after a complete remodel. This Cocoa Beach house was remodeled from top to bottom in 2018 including all new paint, flooring, coastal beach decor, furniture, flat panel smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, central heat and air conditioning, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and kitchenware. Everything in this beach cottage is brand new including a full size washer and dryer with detergent supplied. The pet friendly 6 ft. privacy fenced yard has a large covered patio with an outdoor dining table and brand new Weber grill (propane included). Your short walk to Cocoa Beach will be easy with the supplied beach towels and beach cart stocked with beach toys, beach umbrella, cooler and boogie boards. A crock pot, Brita filtered water pitcher, coffee maker, and tea kettle along with coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, tea bags and some spices are all supplied. The bathroom has been completely remodeled and includes a tub/shower combination. All you need to bring is your clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste as everything else is provided including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, towels, wash cloths, hand towels, hair dryer and even a hair straightener. The provided amenities continue with a high chair, pack & play, extra linens and pillows, high speed WiFi, cable, Netflix, board games, books, iron, ironing board, umbrellas, and even a crate for your dog. Disney World, Universal Studios and all of the other fun that Orlando has to offer is just over an hour drive. Port Canaveral cruise port is a 15 minute drive and Kennedy Space Center is a 30 minute drive. Come at the right time and you can take a turtle walk and possibly observe a sea turtle nesting, baby sea turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean or see an amazing rocket launch. This house is a 4 minute walk to the warm sand of Cocoa Beach and a 20 minute walk to downtown where you will find locally owned restaurants, unique shops, and great bars. Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral loop route 9 bus stop is a 2 minute walk. The bus is air conditioned and at the low price of $1.50 (they accept bills but do not make change) is a great way to get around as parking can be difficult to find during busy times. South Cocoa Beach is less crowded so you will have more room to enjoy the beach. The house is located just past 7th Street South. Dogs are allowed on the beach from 4th Street South to the north end of Robert P. Murkshe Park which is just north of 16th Street South from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during standard time and ending at 9 p.m. during daylight savings time. Dogs must remain on a 6-foot leash at all times and you must clean up after your dog or you will be fined.

This place is very nice and close to the beach. The best feature for us was the fenced yard, perfect for our puppy. The area is quiet and the beach not busy at all. I highly recommend.

The location and included amenities made for a great stay. Would definitely recommend for small families and travelers with pets. The unit was clean and as described and the beds were comfortable. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. A great option for a no frills place to land while in Cocoa Beach!

Location was nice for our family. We had to drive to go to restaurants and shopping which was fine. Parking by the popular beaches was terrible! We ended up walking to the beach right by the house and that was not busy at all!

Adorable Cottage

Great place to stay and everything you need was provided. Thankful to the owners- Hurricane Debbie arrived and we needed an extention on our stay and the owners were very accommodating during this time. The cottage is in close walking distance to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Great Location near Dog Friendly Beach

Located just around the block from the beach, you cant beat this location. It is also walkable to restaurants and shops in downtown cocoa beach. We were happy to be able to bring our dog and didnt run into any issues while we were there. John and Julia were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would stay here again.

Super location! House was as indicated. Maybe a little worn but met our needs wonderfully. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice to have a covered patio equipped with an outdoor shower after the day at the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the location was very quiet. We had a great time!

Perfect getaway

This was a baby moon-type stay for my husband, me, and our dog. The property was just as listed, cozy, and clean. The yard was fenced and our dog had a blast playing in it. The beach is a short walk, though we were able to find parking. The hosts were awesome, gave great instructions and recommendations. Definitely would this to anyone, we had a great stay!!

Absolutely no complaints. The property was very clean. My husband raved about the comfort of the beds( which never happens). The location of this home made for a perfect short walk to the beach that was not crowded like you would experience if you stayed in a condo. I loved that part so much!! The shower outside and all the beach accessories were a huge perk also!

Quaint & Cozy Retreat

We absolutely loved this little cottage. It has all the amenities of home but only steps away from the beach. We all slept well in the comfy beds and were up bright and early to stroll the beach with our fur babies. I am so thankful for pet friendly rentals. The dogs had a blast ! Another bonus was the baby items provided such as pack & play and a high chair!The place was spotless and the decor gives a beachy feel that was tastefully done. I was impressed with this hidden gem.

Not what I expected based on the photos. When I arrived there was a musty smell. I used some air freshner and it was better. I always check for bed bugs first thing. The home was bed bug free and that was a plus. However the home was not very well cleaned. I paid extra cleaning fees but cleaned during my stay and when I checked out. I understand sometimes with a cleaning team things can be overlooked that's why I rated a 3.
