From the well-furnished bedrooms that share an immaculate bathroom are views of Stoke church, made famous by John Constable, and Polstead Village. Being just 100 yards from two of the best pubs in the area, along with access to bountiful walks and the village shop, this cottage is the perfect rural village getaway.

Second time at this property and it did not disappoint. Extremely clean and very well appointed. The Bed in Master bedroom is really comfortable and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to self cater. Will probably return for a third time!

A little Gem
This gem of a property is perfect. Every aspect of this rental is what you hope for when you book a rental. It was scrupulously clean and decorated with taste and charm. The log fire was perfect on a rainy cold November evening! We will return one day.

Charming cottage
Box Valley Cottage was as charming, if not more so, than it looked in the listing. Beautifully clean and maintained with all needs catered for. Super location (close to two very nice (if expensive!) pubs/restaurants and in a nice village. Parking for 4x4 car was a little precarious and took some skill! Second bedroom rather on the small side, but fine for a couple of nights. Overall, a lovely short break in a lovely part of the country.

Well equipped house in pretty village.
Conveniently situated for visiting local places of interest & walking in beautiful countryside. The house had everything you could need & a pretty courtyard garden. A welcome pack was gratefully received. We had no need to contact the owner but a phone number was provided.
