"The staff were so nice, really friendly and helpful. We had evening meal and breakfast and they were both great. The pool was fine, had a nice swim, jacuzzi and steam room. The let down was the room hadn’t been cleaned, there were still balloons in the room and leaves in the bath, half a toilet roll from previous guests. Also we got charged 4 different prices at the bar for drinks and a large Chardonnay was £15.95 for a glass, not a bottle, which we found extortionate…"

"Lovely old property, does show some signs of wear and tear which is understandable. Good car parking facilities. There was no food available when we stayed,(except breakfast which was good) but there are many good restaurants in the area. A pleasant stay."

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The most limited (and prepackaged, so not fresh) range for breakfast I have ever encountered in extensive travels."
