"This was a beautiful, very clean cabin. Jim was a terrific host. My only complaint would be that the bedding wasn't great. The upstairs bed is fairly hard (subjective, I know) and the pull out couch bed is really unusable (very poor shape). We made due and I would use this place again, knowing what we know."

"The AHMA Cottage property was beautiful! It had everything you would want for a mountain vacation right on the property. It had rolling hills, spectacular views, mountain trails, a dozen places to have the perfect picnic, a river to cool off in on a hot summer’s day and the perfect place to grab a chair to relax by the river to unwind. The house was gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. We spent our time here relaxing on the porch, sitting around the outdoor fire pit, hiking, tubing down the river, gathering around the table with our family and good food and most of all, taking in all the views the property had to offer. Our family enjoyed our time here immensely. Our host was accommodating and made our stay here just what we had dreamed it would be. We highly recommend AHMA!"

"Returning to the area where I grew 85 years ago was a fantastic experience! This house is about 500 yards down the "holler" from my original home. It is over 100 years old but retains most of the shape of the old house but has been totally renovated and updated with all the modern amenities one would expect. Our contact person,Mario, was very accommodating, always stayed in touch and is a wonderful person! He is a wealth of information! We have already made our reservation for next year when our family celebrates our 60th family reunion and I celebrate my 70th high school reunion!"
