Best Western Smoky Mountain Inn

"We dumped another hotel rewards program to go with this one and this first stay was a breath of FRESH AIR. Now we do NOT have to worry if the hotel is a painted over dump or people are living there full time. This stay at this Best western was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was a little small and they did not have fresh baked stuff BUT the area is small so that was fine with us. Staff was great, cleaning service was great, room fridge and appliances actually all worked, We really enjoyed our stay here. Half hour to Cherokee, half hour to Asheville, half hour to/on blue ridge parkway to see AWSOME scenery. Do not forget to stop a few mile south at the Barber Orchards Fruit Stand for wonderul bakery and fresh produce!!! Yum.. It was a perfect central place to stay!"

"We needed an interim place to stay while our house purchase was being completed. I found this listing while looking for a home that would allow me to bring my dogs. The reviews were great and so has my experience been since first contact. The house is well appointed, clean, beautiful and just what we needed. Absolutely love hearing the chickens and ducks out in the yard. We are close enough to downtown Waynesville that my husband walked to town on a number of occasions. We have really enjoyed our stay and felt welcome from the first interaction with Natalie. She is a wonderful host."

"On this property you have to start with the host Steven. I have experienced both good and bad hosts, and Steven is the best of the best (communication, flexibility, responsiveness, and all the traits you want in a host. The property itself is also a winner. At 3,500 ft elevation, you get the cool air without a lot of humidity. It is located in a rainforest, and the back porch and view are excellent. The house itself is as described, so if you like the pictures you should like the house. An extra benefit is weekly trash pickup at the house instead of driving to a convenience center miles away. Nice house!"

"We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at The Roost! The house is incredibly clean, cozy, well stocked, etc. etc. etc. The view is amazing - pictures do no justice to how beautiful it is. We spent hours just relaxing on the porch, enjoying the breeze. Super convenient to town but it feels like you are miles away once you get to the house. The host was fantastic as well - excellent communication, and I felt like they were actually happy we were there. We will definitely be back to this amazing property!"
