"Clean room, friendly check in staff. I didn’t partake in the continental breakfast or any other amenities. Something I wish people were mindful of is closing the door softer. Lots of people left early this morning opening and closing doors multiple times, each time letting it slam shut. Regardless if you’re staying at this hotel or another try to be mindful of the door!!"

"Parking access was easy. The house is just a short walk to restaurants, breweries, shopping, and a great bookstore ( eg. Wall Street bookstore) The house has a great porch and garden to sit in too. The staff were very responsive and helpful."

"Stayed in Waynesville because of the location of the town to Asheville and Cherokee. This was an amazing place to stay and it was cozy and offered everything we needed. I stayed with my girlfriend and my dog and the fenced backyard was great. They provided all the essentials and even a thoughtful doggie basket! Beds were comfortable. This location is perfect and so close to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants. Would stay again!"

"Gas grill could have been better, the upstairs bedroom had the balcony blocked due to borer bees, the kitchen sink was clogged and garbage disposal didn’t work (these two things were fixed), and it lacked closets and hooks in most bedrooms. It had a great view, game room and hot tub was nice. Viking stove/oven was cumbersome. Two safety issues: rock steps going into the house and some rugs were a trip hazard. "

"Great place. Couple of things could be fixed, but overall a good experience. With this being 5 bedroom place, sleeping 10 people the hot tub is small fitting only 3 people."

"The surroundings are beautiful but the Inn needs more updating. Everything was clean, but the doors were old and not latching easily. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice. "

"Unique little place. Wasn’t sure where to stay last minute and this place had pretty good reviews compared to local hotels in Maggie Valley. I gave it a try and was actually impressed. The property manager greeted us and showed us to a cabin asked if it was ok. He waited for an answer and then told us about the local area. Really neat little town. 15 min or so from Maggie Valley and much quieter. Beds were comfy and didn’t move when my wife moved at night. Showers were really nice tiles from top to bottom. Living room was plenty for the 2 of us. Trust me I don’t normally leave a review unless I left upset. I would stay here again. Thank you for a good nights rest Wild Rest."
