Very sweet little room. It was tiny for three people plus suitcases, but we made it work. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! Breakfast was very good, and it was very easy to get to the hotel from the train station by foot. We could also easily get to the water ferry dock by foot. Just a warning for those coming in winter, most places are closed and the ferry only runs a few times a day. We did not get to see much of Lake Como because we had to wait four hours for the ferry. I wish we had planned more time to visit, it was so beautiful!

Good location, comfortable, very good breakfast
Staff were courteous, the place was very close to the lake, the bedroom and the bathroom were quite comfortable and the breakfast was very good. I would certainly like to come back to this hotel.

Excellent Location. Friendly staff.
Centrally located hotel. Free on street parking nearby. Colico is a small town in the north of Lake Como. Very pretty. Hotel in a 3 minute walk from the lake shore. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. The complimentary water in the mini fridge was appreciated. Varied selection at breakfast. If I returned to Colico again I would not hesitate to stay again. Did not eat at hotel restaurant.

Good base to explore but set back a couple of streets from the lake from whence it takes its name. No lake views as a result. Breakfast was limited for us, but we are vegan. Staff able to provide soya milk. Overall. we had a fantastic time.

The property is so well kept and comfortable to stay. We stayed at the family suite which was plenty of space for us (family of 4). We loved our stay and would like to go back.

Beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Como
We found a leaky roof dripping water on the bed but this was very quickly fixed by moving us to another room. I am sure that will not be an ongoing problem. The hotel is excellent - clean and comfortable - better than the pictures suggest. Easy walk to both the ferry terminal and train station.

A hidden gem of a hotel at a sensible price
Would have no hesitation to stay again or recommend to others. Good value and perfect location at the top of Lake Como. Nice friendly staff. Just across the road from mini supermarket and a couple of minutes walk to the lake side and other eating establishments. Clean and modern.

Great hotel
Clean, great location, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet. The only negative is no parking but you can usually find street parking without too much trouble.

Colico, all that we needed.
This hotel is well located, being 400 metres on level pavement for the train station and only a short walk to the lake with its restaurants, bars and ferry access to the rest of Lake Como. Breakfast had the standard cold buffer with a large selection of pastries and cakes. Room cleaning occurs mid-morning which is great if you go out early but like to return in the afternoon with the room make-up.

This hotel was brilliant for gluten-free food at breakfast, which was cooked in the hotel kitchen: tarts, cake, biscuits. The staff were very friendly and helpful about travelling to sites: rail and ferry information.

What a great place!
We really liked staying here! The front desk lady was very kind and the room was perfect. The location made for an easy stroll to Lake Como. Breakfast was terrific and the whole staff was just great. After driving from Germany via the Spludgepass, it was terrific to have a great place to stay.

Friendly and convenient
Nice, friendly hotel a 5 minute walk from the lake, restaurants and ferry. Clean, comfortable room which was at the back and very quiet. Car parking is on local streets where there are a number of free bays. A good place from which to explore the lake and parts of Switzerland as well

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Breakfast was decent enough with cereal and a selection of ham, cheese and bread provided. Good enough to fill the stomach but certainly not international buffet style for its location. Wifi was a little slow, but overall a good stay.

Very nice hotel, currently undergoing renovation as of July 2015. I had a renovated room and it was awesome... Large, modern, great ac, and a private terrace. The hotel is about a block from Lake Como.

Hotel confortevole a pochi passi dal centro
Hotel a pochi passi dal centro di Colico, non dispone di un parcheggio ma ho trovato facilmente parcheggio in zona. Stanza pulita e confortevole e colazione completa con frutta dolce e salato. Mi sono trovato molto bene

Cortesia e disponibilità decisamente ottima. Anche la colazione molto buona. Unico neo il parcheggio assenta ma quello è dovuto agli spazi. Tornerò!
