"Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "

"We booked a “deluxe double room” last minute after a long flight, too tired to drive home and just needing a restful night. The room was freezing cold, radiator turned off and window open not ideal on a cold February evening! The window didn’t close properly and the radiator made a loud humming noise. The bed was really lumpy, towels extremely old and the room itself tired and far from “deluxe” We were disturbed by noise from the room below until I got up and complained at 4am to the night manager. The breakfast was surprisingly good but this is definitely a place to AVOID"

"Absolutely perfect stay cute little place, came as a surprise stay for boyf birthday. Probably booked somewhere else until I saw here an the other place wouldn’t decorate and the owner said I could here so booked to stay here instead it was lovely, cosy we arrived quite late so will have to come back and stay from the check in time to enjoy the views and relaxing vibe. Definitely will come back 5* an he loved the treat Thank you. Also it doesn’t have a tv and I know people choose these places for that but I brought a little projector with me and used the cabins WiFi so we had Netflix on the roof. Only thing is it was that cosy we fell straight to sleep til the morning haha xxx"

"Hosts are very good at communicating with their guests and are super friendly.The converted barn offers a warm and inviting space with amazing countryside views. A nice and quiet location offering beautiful walks.Very well stocked kitchen and other amenities.Highly recommended property for those seeking some peace and tranquility in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
