"Clean room which was very comfortable. Nice little extras like the proper Yorkshire tea and local shortbread biscuits. Loved the nod to the areas history in the art work so didn’t feel like a typical chain hotel, felt a little bit like a boutique hotel. Staff were very helpful. Food and service in the bar was good too. Would definitely stay there again"

"Room was clean. Plenty of space, living area, bathroom and kitchen appliances (washer and Stove). Staff were very helpful, polite and assisted with luggage on arrival. Given directions to public parking lot just around the corner, with entrance from the rear of the pub also providing access to the parking lot. (Pay and display). Lot clears out after school day ends, and first hour free, no charge 6pm to 8am, the first hour free the next day. Had supper at the venue, good food, basic menu. Expedia states breakfast included, but had to be purchased in addition to cost of the room. Good location, good price, with parking challenges manageable via public lot, or park just down the street, past the CO-OP, no restrictions on parking there, and a short walk up the street."

"Had a lovely 2 night stay for work related activities. Staff were amazing check in was quick and friendly. Car chargers available as well which is a bonus. I didn’t eat here due to work commitments but the bar area was welcoming and cosy. WiFi was an issue on the afternoon and evening of my second day which meant I couldn’t catch up on work I also didn’t have good mobile signal so couldn’t hot spot! On both evenings there was some disruption to my sleep due to cars meeting up on the car park and playing g loud music, talking laughing etc until around midnight. I have a 5 night stay booked to visit family and sep d the half term in the area so really looking forward to spending more time here."

"The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries. There is also a good selection of snacks, and a honesty bar situated outside of the rooms. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, then this is the place for it."

The huge living area was ideal for spending time together, and the whole house felt so cosy and welcoming.The hosts were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Everything was just what we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Would definitely recommend!"

"A really beautiful space in a great location — 12 of us (spanning three generations) were very comfortable, and it’s nicer and more spacious than the photos look. The views from the rooms and terrace are also wonderful, especially at sunset. We loved the great kitchen / breakfast area and a fantastic big dining room. Very well equipped and Sam was very quick to help us sort out a small initial issue with the hob. He and Peri couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Great place in lovely countryside but also near to the excitements of Manchester. Very very highly recommended!"
