Colonia Salina Chica Holidays

The room and cleanliness of the room was good. A nightstand was missing where it was needed. We had to use a chair from the balcony to set our phones on. Extra towels are not given. I'm sorry that I like to take extra showers and I don't want to dry myself with a wet towel. I feel like if the room is not an upgrade you are left to fend for yourself. Example one, I needed a microwave in the morning. I went to the lobbby to ask for one, they sent me to the restaurant. The restaurant didn't have a microwave, I just needed to heat up my breakfast. Because you guys don't have free breakfast and don't have a microwave in my room. Another example, when we were hanging out by the pool My husband ordered beers from a server. After 10 minutes of Nothing, my husband went to the bar to ask for beers. They told him that they didn't sell beers for us to take to the pool. Funny! yet 5 minutes later the server guy shows up with the beers. You need female lobby staff members. All guys is intimidating especially for single women staying there. The guy that gave me the room key announced my room number OUTLOUD twice. I can read the paper ypu wrote it on. That is a safety violation.

The room was fantastic. Most of the staff were great. Had many issues with staff on the beach getting mad if you moved lounge chairs to be in the sun and if you moved it in front of a cabana there was hell pay. Shout out to Randy at the front desk who was the BEST and Roberto in the buffet who also helped us take the bus. Watch out for the food. It’s cold and just doesn’t taste good. The Asian Restaurant was TOP NOTCH though so we ate there all week. For the price we paid I would rate the resort 6/10. Th re were no fun activities to do and all the restaurants are indoors which I didn’t like.

The staff here (especially the entertainment crew and bartenders) were awesome!

breakfast in my opinion was good, very good in my opinion, before I left for vacation I read some reviews about breakfast how it was not any good and that food was cold, the cold food part, that I did see some of but in my situation I was arriving there at 7 am right as buffet was brought out which is probably why I only seen only a little of it. rooms were very clean, I had a i bedroom suite, it had a kitchen and a large living room, pots pans and dishes were provided by hotel, as for the view from the balcony well I cant say much there, we all cant have an ocean view, I was offered an ocean view when I first arrived for an extra 50 dollars a day but I decided to stay with what I had not knowing how extensive that last minute ocean view was going to be. I did manage to catch a quick view of the full moon rising up over the ocean on my taxi ride inn, How gorgeous that was, if your there during that moon cycle make sure you DONT MISS IT it's one of a kind!!. So big question would I stay there again, YEA for sure.

Rooms, staff especially Alberto and pool staff amazing. The resort is gorgeous! Food, drinks and room service wonderful. There is even black jack in the pool and fabulous aqua fit. Beach is beautiful I am going back in 8 weeks and booking soon
