"Wonderful cozy cabin! The hosts were very helpful and communicative while allowing us our privacy! They gave us lots of recommendations for nearby restaurants and shops. We tried out Nolan's on the Lake and it was delightful. The cabin was very clean and is on a beautiful piece of land with an amazing sunset view out the front. Got to say hello to the horses on our last day and they were very friendly. One of the hosts' golden retrievers came over to say hello while we were leaving as well. Such a sweet dog! Loved the hot tub, and the downstairs bed was unbelievably comfy. The property is just close enough to local shops and restaurants to feel like you can easily get what you want or need, but not too close where you feel like youre not getting to take in and enjoy the rural surroundings of the area. Very glad we chose this place to stay for our little anniversary excursion!"

It had everything we needed and all the extra amenities that made our stay even more special - very comfortable beds and bedding, spacious common area, well stocked kitchen, lovely cleanliness throughout! Gorgeous views of the lake and a serene setting right on the waterfront. Katrina was very responsive, with excellent communication. We will definitely be back to enjoy Lakeaholic Living again!"

"Upon arrival we found a clean, peaceful property with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room and bedroom. The entrance foyer and sitting/dining area was warm and inviting. Outside we discovered a comfortable campfire area with a walking space including a small pond. Each evening we were serenaded by frogs and insects into a soothing sleep. We were awakened gently by cool air and sunshine. Penn Yan has a general store which we visited on the way down, providing all of our grocery needs. Although there are great restaurants and sights in the area, we were looking for a quiet get away, so we stayed put. And loved it."

"Philippe was an exceptionally helpful and responsive host who made our first Vrbo experience easy. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs, the comfortable beds, clean linens, updated shower, and convenient washer/dryer. The cottage is an older, fairly basic property in a quiet lakeside neighborhood, with shared lake access a short walk down the gravel lane. The kayaks were a nice bonus, and Philippe went out of his way to make us feel welcome."

"We had a wonderful time! Our large group fit comfortably in the spacious house, and Jeff was friendly, accommodating, and always quick to respond to our questions.The weather was challenging, which was no one's fault, but it did mean we spent more time indoors than expected. The house became quite warm, as the air conditioning is limited. Once the weather improved, we were able to spend nearly all our time outside and on the lake. The outdoor space is fantastic and offers just about everything you could ask for.The price was reasonable, and overall, I would highly recommend this property."
