"The room was OK, had tiny kitchen space but no kitchenware. The mattress was sinking. It is in a great location and the room was overlooking the river which was great. The furniture looked old but unique and in a good shape. The hallways looked like needed some work. The pool is outside on the parking lot, very small pool. If they fix up the building a bit and mattresses, it can be a great place. The breakfast area looked cool but the breakfast was pre packaged in small fridge area, was ok but not that good. The people who work there were very polite. The place can be great if fixed up a bit."

"My family of four had the pleasure of staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much at first because it's called a lodge, but this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, cute, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, which is important. Water pressure in the shower was excellent- something that definitely matters when you are traveling! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. They also offer a complimentary breakfast. It wasn't a huge spread but had everything you need to start your day- bagels, waffles, muffins and coffee. Be prepared to wait a few minutes because the breakfast is behind the desk where you are not allowed. The staff member will get you what you want. Overall, it was affordable, and enjoyable. If we ever travel back to Gainesville, we will stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Gainesville."

"Check in was easy It's a little out of town. About a 10 min walk The bedroom needed a bed upgrades and a deep cleaning. Breakfast was ok"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice. They were very accommodating and asked if being around dogs would bother us. We said that it would be fine since we have a dog but we didn’t bring him with us this time. The sign at the entrance needs to be brighter since it’s fading some. It was a great stay and we will stay there again in the future."

"Fireplace was not working. The ceiling was peeling off. The sheets had a hole in them. The AC unit made a loud knocking noise every time the compressor went off. The coffee pot was missing the tray for the coffee filter. Shower had used soap in it and hair left in it. "
