"I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. "Excellent hotel. Very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice free continental breakfast in the morning in a very pleasant breakfast room. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and the next time I'm in Genoa, this is were I will be staying again."
"A charming and beautifully designed apartment in the middle of Genova’s caruggi with very supportive and friendly hosts. A perfect location to discover all the phantastic places. "

"It was close to everything. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel rooms could use a bit of renovation. The lobby doesn't represent the rooms. The A/C doesn't cool. We ended up opening the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful "
"We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight.
The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and hot plate, which was awesome for cooking ourselves a light breakfast and/or making tea.
3 beaches are walking distance from the hotel: Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Sturla, so the location was perfect for us. "

"It is a pleasant apartment but rather gloomy because of the outside shutters. The stairs up were quite steep. There were some lovely shops, bars and restaurants very close to the property. There was a bus stop nearby and the buses were frequent but always crowded"
