"Our room was in a charming older home about 2km from the train station.For younger people it would be a pleasant walk into town, but it is hilly. The house had shared kitchen and dining room which we didn’t use, but for longer stays it would be very nice. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. However the shower did not drain very well and we were concerned that it would overflow. We found the beds quite soft and we prefer firmer mattresses. There was also a lovely patio and garden. The neighborhood was quiet."

"There are too many stairs and no elevator. Some rooms do not have AC. The hotel is on Galway Bay and the grounds are beautifully kept with walking trails to the rocky beach. It is about 7 miles from Galway which could be an issue for some without their own transportation. We would stay there again."
