"Having both a washer and a dryer was good. It would have helped to have the fridge cold when we arrived. As it was, I ended up putting my glaucoma eye drops in the freezer while we went to dinner, thinking it was a second fridge. They froze solid and were no longer usable so I had to find a pharmacy the next morning to buy more. In the future, a label on the freezer or some indication of what it is would be useful."
Traditional Irish Cottage In The Heart Of Connemara with WI-FI

"We stayed for two weeks and loved our time in Rosmuck. The cottage set-up was perfect for our stay and the host (and her brother Michael) were very responsive without being intrusive. We'd also recommend a sauna & dip at Driftwood Sauna at Spiddal Pier (30 minutes drive from the cottage), the Green Bee honesty "shop" which is just 5 minutes drive away at Camus Oughter and the bakery at Clonbur (especially their fabulous weekend cakes )."

"The views are amazing and the location is stunning. It was clean and ready for us to arrive. We needed to use the heat and the main storage heaters were wonderful but the bedroom ones didn't work.....despite the instructions. We had lots of hot water. Easy to contact the lady about entry.Luckily we were warned about the entrance which is very tight and awkward. The lane way vegetation needs to be cut back.Nicholas responded quickl when I had a query.I hadn't used vrbo previously and was concerned when they took all the money in January for an August booking."

"We, a family of 9 adults and 4 grandchildren, stayed for 10 days in Deirdre's beautiful property. It is fantastic for anyone visiting mid -west Ireland 5 minutes from the ocean and great for travelling to other parts of Ireland . The home is huge, very tastefully decorated and highly recommended. Deirdre was incredibly kind and available for any queries"
House with character

"We have been coming to Connemara for 34 years, and this house is in the perfect spot for us. Not only do you get gorgeous views over the tranquil Betraboy Bay, but on the other side of the bay you can see Roundstone and round to the east, the Twelve Pins mountain range. The house is impeccably designed so that all the communal living spaces are functional and spacious, while somehow managing to fit in five spacious bedrooms where you can be tucked away with some quiet and privacy. It really is a functional house for a large family gathering. The house has an abundance of options when it comes to different facilities, from washing machines and dryers to dishwashers and ways to dry out beach kit. There's plenty of garden space for kids to run around, has good Wi-Fi, everything you could ever hope for when booking a house for a week. On top of that, John and Mairead were incredibly helpful and courteous, quick to respond with any queries we had. They really made us feel at home. Some people in other reviews have mentioned that Glinsk is a remote area, and this is true. It's definitely as asset. This is why you can enjoy local beaches, walks and mountains without the hundreds of tourists that are now flocking to other parts of Ireland's coast. There are plenty of shops and coffee shops nearby - within a ten-minute drive you can get all the basics, but Clifden, just 30 minutes away, has all the big supermarkets where you can get everything you could ever need. Highly recommend."
Cashel House Hotel

"The gardens were incredible. Lots of paths . Very cozy place. Breakfasts were great! The room smelled damp and moldy. Rooms were large and nice except for smell. The bar was fun every night . Very cozy except for leather couches and chairs that you sank in (really sank in). We stayed 6 days with my family we had 4 rooms. The food was great! Except 90% fish dishes. We were not fish eaters. Last we stayed for the day but they do not serve lunch there."
