"Connemara coast hotel was an excellent choice for our week stay. The property was clean, and any issues were quickly addressed and repaired. It was so nice seeing and speaking with Gerald in the bar each evening. He was very accommodating and anticipated our needs even going out of his way to find me take away cups for my early morning coffees. It was such a pleasure talking with him each evening. The last night of our stay we had a tyre mishap and did not make it back to the motel until after the resturaunt closed. The resturant manager had us sandwiches and fruit plate made which was very appreciated and not expected. I greatly appreciate him and his staff going above and beyond to make sure we had dinner our last night in Ireland. I would higly reccomend the Connemarra hotel to anyone! Thank you Janice Bugg"

Oughterard proved to be a hidden gem, with its lovely town and incredibly welcoming locals who made us feel right at home. Do yourself a favor and do your souvenir shopping at John P. Keogh & Sons Irish Gifts and Crafts! Then have a pint at Powers Thatch and if you are lucky enough to be in town on a Sunday, make sure to get there early for the traditional Irish music. The house itself came equipped with all the comforts necessary for a family, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay. Both the host and the caretaker were exceptionally responsive and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was managed perfectly. We are immensely grateful for their hospitality and the memorable experience they helped create. We eagerly anticipate our return to this beautiful spot in Ireland. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine taste of Irish charm!"
