"Dingle is the perfect walkable little town. I’ve stayed just out of town but it is less convenient. I’ve also stayed at a hotel right in town but it was noisy. This was perfect because you could easily walk but a little quieter."

"It was the perfect place for us staying in Dingle for 28 days! Douglas was very attentive to ALL my concerns or questions! Just a suggestion for guests unfamiliar with the oven - like us - have information somewhere on how to use the oven? Thank goodness for the internet and we figured it out!"

Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. "We loved the cozy space and all of the artistic touches. The communication with Rosie the house manager was excellent. It is an ideal location if you’re looking for some quietude but, easy access to Dingle center. We enjoyed walking the beach which was a 5 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend Sleepy Shell!"

"Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. Recommended, and without qualification would return for future trips"

"This property is perfect. There were 9 of us so having 3 bathrooms was very nice. We enjoyed playing board games in the living room looking out over Dingle Bay. There was a beautiful rainbow outside the kitchen window our first morning while we were gathering for coffee. Beds were comfortable. Breda was fantastic. My kids even got to shoot a few hoops in the driveway. I would highly recommend this home."

"All clean and in order. Accommodated our late arrival. Remember to request towels—unless you actually travel with towels. No little bits of tea or milk or soap on site, so come prepared and it’s great!"
