"We just wrapped up our annual mid-winter break trip at Holiday Inn Express Mackinaw City, and once again, it was a phenomenal stay. This has become a tradition for our family, and it never disappoints. The staff are consistently wonderful — cheerful, welcoming, and quick to assist with anything we need. Traveling with three kids can sometimes feel like a lot, but they make the entire experience easy and comfortable. The kids always look forward to the pool time, which is a highlight of our stay, and the continental breakfast is fresh with a great variety of options each morning. One of my personal favorite touches is how thoughtfully the rooms are set up — they’ve truly thought of everything, even including a laundry basket right in the room. As a family of five, those small conveniences make a huge difference. While it may not be the cheapest option in the area, the overall experience, comfort, and family-friendly accommodations make it absolutely worth the cost. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year."
