"This hotel is a gem. Although the building is older, the room was spotless, updated, and everything was in perfect working order. The restaurant cooked an excellent breakfast to order and the Italian dinners were authentic and delicious. To top it off, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, it was a 5 minute walk to both the downtown and the beach. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat. "

"The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland! "

"I had a lovely stay at the Shore Hotel in Balintore — the location is beautiful with a peaceful view over the harbour, and my room was immaculate, comfortable, and felt freshly renovated. Everything throughout the hotel was spotless and well cared for, and the whole place has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. "The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side.
