"This is the second time I have stayed at Midtown. This time book for a airport shuttle but there wasn't anything to identify where I should go and what I should look for. I had a rough day travelling so when I did reach Midtown, I didn't even bother to ask. I ended up taking a regular taxi. Check in was speedy as usual, the hostess was friendly and helpful as usual. The room was even better than the first visit this time we had a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom was clean and had clean towels and toiletries. The drive to the hotel wasn't too long and the location was perfect. Being located walking distance to the boardwalk where restaurants, shopping, convenience stores and the beach was great. My Son and I loved it. We definitely will visit again. Only issues we had was that they were doing renovations in the morning. We weren't a fan of hearing drilling and knocking in the morning. Also the wifi is a bit glitchy. "

"Stayed at Divi with my family. Great location. The pools well kept but on the small side, Beach is perfect though. Staff was helpful with special shout out to Devon who serves on the beach from Gizmos. Lew was a great bartender at Gizmos too. The rooms are dated but we didn't go to spend time in the room. Can't say enough about the location located on a beautiful peninsula."

"Rooms were small but fine for an overnight. I booked a view room and received a room with no window. They moved me but the room that was available was a beside an entrance and very noisy. I make sure I had earplugs "

"This hotel is great for families, it has everything you need. The ocean view is amazing! The kitchen is always a must when i travel with family, we like to cook instead of eating out. The pink pearl restaurant at the building offers variety of food if you don't feel like cooking, you can also wash clothes if needed. The beach and boardwalk is right in front of the hotel, they offer free beach chairs for the guests, they offer stress free parking as well- as it can be very hard to find parking in the area due its busy streets. The cleaning lady was very nice. However bathroom has this constant smell i don't know where its coming from, one of the toilet barely flush as well. Front desk was great but i encounter one front desk lady where i kindly asked a question and she seems like she does not want to be bothered- it was my first time so i always do ask questions- this lady needs to be more friendly with guests. Overall, our stay was great. My family had fun and we will definitely come back again. Thank you."

"The property was ok compared to other resorts we have been too. We are very thankful we did NOT do the all inclusive package as the restaurant options were lackluster at best. Mix the rooftop bar was a great experience, best spot at the resort, just check the weather forecast before booking! The bartenders at gizmos down by the beach will charge you full price for virgin pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris for the kids, didn’t realize this until the last day when I asked someone at the pull bar, so beware. Also if you don’t do the all inclusive package I feel as though your service level will suffer at bars too. It seems like they need to hire additional folks to work at the restaurants on property as well, service was very slow when we did grab some small options to share before venturing out for dinner elsewhere. The beach area was nice, especially if you get out there early and get some good chairs and umbrella. No beach service, so don’t expect anyone to come around and take your drink or food order like most other resorts we’ve been to. Would definitely come back to SXM, but would stay somewhere else for sure. "

"The hotel was amazing . Staff was excellent . The resturant and bars were great . Breakfast , lunch and dinner were all excellent . If you book a room opt for the breakfast included , definitely worth it . The bars and bartenders were superb , friendly and made great drinks . Location , right on the boardwalk was awesome and convenient . Close to the cruise port. Perfect location if you’re taking a cruise . Private beach across the boardwalk with complimentary chairs and towels . Drink and food services on the beach were perfect . The beach front room with balcony was great with amazing view . "
