"Staff were great, I asked for our room to be changed to the top floor and was delighted when this was changed for us. We had the same room we have stayed in 3 times before. The bins had not been emptied but staff had housekeeping attend to this for us without fuss. We also had the aircon dropping water which was fixed very promptly. "

"Lovely little hotel, perfectly positioned between the main street and the beach. Lovely pool with lots of semi private areas for couples to relax. Lovely staff, nice breakfast, didn't turn a hair when we arrived 1 minute late for the designated breakfast window. I would not even look at other options next time - would be v happy to come here again."

"We had a lovely stay, rooms very clean, new and modern. Pools are fantastic and given the size of the resort privacy is not an issue if you are looking for a quiet spot on the lagoon/pool. Dining is a little expensive but there are other options in town. Private access to four mile beach. Aircon facilities and fans in rooms are great although we did get a little cold at night with the aircon not able to be switched off unless windows are open. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. "

"We come every year and just love the quiet peaceful relaxed vibe. Adults only is the best, you can totally switch off and enjoy your break. Shantara is close to everything, can walk easily to the beach, marina and shops and restaurants/cafes/bars. Tours pick up at the door. Staff are very helpful. "
