"Parking on site was good and one of the reasons we booked this hotel. The noise from the outside road though facing the street was more than expected due to late night revellers. The food at the restaurant was okay, although I thought was expensive for what it was I only got 2 small pieces of lamb for £29. The quality and taste was okay though, but there are other places to go and eat which are nicer and better value. Location of the hotel was very good though in terms of being able to walk around the city."

"The room was a great size and a great location, with parking. It was quiet and private and I appreciated the fact that there was an external door and a 'front door to my room as it gave more security - however each time I went to the external door it was ajar, so actually anyone could have walked in. I think it isn't quite heavy enough to slam shut itself, or the catch isn't quite right. Also note that you have to physically lock your own door with the key and not assume it'll lock itself - same for locking yourself in. My only real issue was that I had a room with a freestanding bath and when I let the water out, it pushed drain gunk up into the shower tray in the ensuite bathroom and it smelled pretty bad. I shut the bathroom door which trapped most of the smell but it was disappointing. Really helpful staff. The gym looked good but I didn't use it."

"Very enjoyable 3 night stay. Well equipped and comfortable room overlooking Norwich city football ground. Plenty of parking both outside the hotel and a few yards away for the football ground. Excellent breakfast choice. Couldn't fault it. 15 min walk into city or catch the number 25 bus nearby. Thank you."

"This is my second stay at The Summer Room. It is almost like staying at home. Great double bed and shower room, large sofa to sit on. Small table with 2 chairs to eat/work at. TV great as well as WiFi. Lovely greeting from owner as well as fresh milk, butter and jam in fridge. Tea and coffee available as well as bread, cereals, yogurts and scones! Free parking also. Will come back when working in Norwich."
