The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean but very small, although the shower cubicle itself was larger than average. The room is in an excellent location close to the harbour, and is above a fab cafe, which served us a lovely cooked breakfast each morning. Unfortunately, the curtain rail fell down on the first day, and, although Paul was quick to come and take a look, he wasn't able to replace the rail, so we had to have a makeshift blanket across the window for the duration of our stay.The bed had nice crisp sheets and a lovely quilt but the mattress was uncomfortable, quite lumpy in places, and our sleep was severely interrupted on the second night by the cafe sign, which was screwed to the wall just outside our window, noisily swinging to and fro during the night for several hours, as it was a windy night. It was fine the first night as there was no wind. We had the 'Kingsize' room, I don't know if this problem would affect the other rooms.The room had all the usual facilities, a coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer, etc. Overall we had a nice time and Paul was a friendly and helpful host.
