"My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Green Elephant! They offer a good variety of food at their breakfast for a reasonable cost, but they also had a kitchen in the basement here we could prepare and store our own food. They also have a coffee machine that was free to use between 7am-11am, whether or not you paid for their breakfast. "We absolutely loved this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right where the Netherlands meets Belgium, it’s truly special.
What made our stay wonderful was the staff – everyone, from the hotel team to the restaurant crew, was so warm and kind. They made us feel right at home!
On our very first day, we were treated to a magical double rainbow over the riverbank across from the hotel. It felt like such a lucky, happy moment! And our room had this lovely telescope – at night, we even spotted a shooting star glide past the Big Dipper. Just beautiful!
The room itself was super cozy, and the restaurant? Oh, their sauces were incredible! We still can’t stop thinking about them – so tasty and expertly made.
