"The cottage was excellent, offering all that we needed.* Central location *Easy access *Very comfortable *Excellent decor *All fixtures and fittings of a quality standard. *Very comfortable bed . (Only thing we missed were some smaller coffee cups and a scoop for measuring coffee for the cafetaire) We would certainly stay here again should we be in Deal."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is great, we particularly liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Sea view from living room, interesting and historic development. 2 parking spaces very convenient. Overall clean but some kitchen equipment tired and some plates, glasses and table mats actually dirty with encrusted food. I appreciate that it’s difficult to check every plate but the mats were out on the table. Overall furniture good but carpets stained. Did not like having to reach through a very prickly pyracantha bush to get to key box. We couldn’t open windows, that might be us being clumsy, this was fine on a cold March weekend but not if hot. Would book with Keepers Cottage again, good communication and very helpful to get phone call telling us we could get into cottage a bit early."

"The staff were welcoming initially but when we left on Wednesday 1st April the lady doing the breakfast and checkout was clearly stressed. This resulted in her being abrupt with hotel guests at the breakfast table. We could hear her complaining about lack of staff and that she was having to do too much. She also commented on someone asking for brown and white toast as “being weird”. The bedding and towels were clean but there was mould on the bedroom windows and the bath. The food was great in the restaurant. "

"We were surprised how the accommodation was. Lovely bright sunny lounge. Host left us orange juice in the fridge, fresh fruit on the table and chocolate by the bedside. Very good value for money. We will be staying the next time we visit Rye. "

"Fab house for big group. 5 comfortable bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 with showers), fab lounge/dining/kitchen area downstairs to socialise in. Short easy walk from station, 2 min walk to the beach. Easy check in. Dreamy stay. Only slight issue was that more than one person showering at once was a problem for water pressure, which is odd for a house of this size (and accommodating that many guests)."

"The Writer´s Cottage was perfect! Good walking distance to every of our favoured destinations (the ocean, station, parking, Pepper´s organic shop, cafe´s & delis at the high street, supermarket...), the kitchen is very well equipped, in general the cosy house is beautifully decorated. We had a lovely time - could not have been better. The Keepers Team is outstanding: Helpful and kind and curates the best properties to stay in at the Kentish Coast."
