"Very good value and the breakfast is a bargain.
Visiting in a heatwave, it perhaps wasn't ideal to be in one of the south facing bay window rooms with a sea view as it got quite hot, but any other time of year would be fine.
The shower was a little on the small side but worked fine."
"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
"The hotel and gardens are beautiful - immaculate garden perfect for a pre dinner cocktail. Was very impressed with the decor and high standard of furnishings - should be a wedding venue or offer cream teas. We had an amazing dinner - cannot fault the food or drink!! "

"Another nice stay, although only one night. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and lady who took our order at breakfast.
Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of pier and beach. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits.
Breakfast really nice, plenty of choice.
It was a really hot night and air conditioning wasn’t working, however a small tower fan had been put in room, but didn’t really cool it down!

The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. We wanted a few days away from the city, somewhere quiet, near the sea, good for dog walks, and where our daughter could study for her exams. Pebble Beach Cottage was perfect for all of these, and is also beautifully fitted out and spotlessly clean. We will be coming again! "
