The town center, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Swim in the English Channel. Rent a bike if you enjoy cycling. Sandwich is a 6 mile ride east on a flat beach route across the countryside. The White Cliffs of Dover are 8 miles away to the west. View the lighthouse while sipping English tea on the Cliffs...

"The hotel is lovely . The room we booked was large , very clean and overlooked the sea . Excellent rooms . But the service was less than impressive . The lady who served us at breakfast was friendly , but rather curt . Gave us the feeling she didn’t want us there and so breakfast was normally very rushed - eat and run ! "
