"Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal spot for visiting Broadstairs and surrounding area. We were golfing in Sandwich and this is a great spot for evening activities (pubs, food etc). The food at the hotel was excellent also. "

"No soundproofing, loud bar could be heard until about midnight, then drunk people walking loudly around every ten minutes to get to their rooms or somewhere. I could hear the conversations of the men in the room next to me until 1am. Musty damp that irritated my allergies. Staff and location great and shower hot and room warm, if you can handle the rest."

"This is a lovely property tucked away right in the heart of Broadstairs just 20m away from the esplanade overlooking Viking Bay, Broadstairs’ main beach and harbour. The owner was helpful and welcoming. The property is also only very short walks to the array of beautiful restaurants that Broadstairs has to offer. Try Sardinia, again 20m away, and with great food and service. We spent time wandering around the art galleries and other quirky shops, but also longer walks along the beaches and cliff tops which are part of the riches of this part of Kent. And then returning to the house for peace and rest. We had a good, relaxing visit."

"We liked the location of the Old Boathouse, it was less than 20 minutes walk from the station and 2 minutes from the beach. The beds were comfy and the showers great. The spacious living/kitchen area was great. The only downside was that the chocolates in the machine were not real!"
