"Driftwood Beachhouse is perfectly located to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and peace and quiet. Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms and outside spaces are really charming, decorated with character and you feel at home. Highly recommended!"

"Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"What a hidden gem, if your after somewhere quiet with beautiful surroundings then this is the place. Its quaint and quirky and amazing all rolled into one. "

"We were a party of 3 we checked into the hotel, and had a conversation with Jim the owner about where we were going in the evening and about what other night life was in the area. The rooms and facilities were great we were close to the local shops and central Margate was in close walking distance. The beds were comfortable so we had a great night sleep and we had a fantastic full English Breakfast In the morning. It is a fantastic Guest House and we would definitely come back again and...

"The owner was very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much bother. The whole house was very dated and not a fresh and clean welcome could of made it more welcoming than it was the porchway that you entered again was terrible thread bare carpet and musty smell dirty windows and bathroom was shabby again it’s in need of a lick of paint and all round freshen up! Bedding was fine but quilts & pillows underneath were disgusting in my opinion this B&B was very over priced! "

They left us some breakfast foods in the fully stocked kitchen which was a surprise and it was delicious! Incredible panoramic ocean views from multiple rooms! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home. Our stay was very relaxing, peaceful and just an incredible experience."

"The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had."
