"Our stay at the Berry Hill Lake property was awesome. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager was very responsive. I wish there were more pictures of the Bunk House in the listing. The bunk “house” is actually a converted shipping container which our group thought was pretty cool. Theres a nice deck on top of it too with lounge chairs. The bunk house is also further away from the main house than originally anticipated. A short walk through the woods. Wasn’t an issue for us but just something that could be more clear in the property description. "

"Beautiful cabin with plenty of room for our group of 5. Comfy beds, cozy living room, well stocked kitchen. Within easy driving distance of Charlottesville and other small towns with shops and restaurants. Susan was responsive to our questions. Nice seating outside with plenty of rocking chairs; enjoyed my morning coffee there daily! "

"Very accomodating for my famIly. We got to use the lodge as a family for dinner, movies and just to hang out. Walking around the property, specifically in the evening was nice. Had some heavy wind one day and the cover to the hot tub blew off and actually hit my daughter in the head. She is okay but you may want to check the straps. We did not use it at all. "

"The host was very responsive to my questions. The cabin is gem. It is next to a river in a secluded area in the woods but we went to several wineries. Or, you can just take a walk down to the river and see deer. We would go back to this cabin in a heartbeat. Highly recommend."
