Beautiful 1400 sq. ft craftsman style home. 9.5 miles to Denali National Park's Visitor Center. Escape the overcrowded tourist center and stay in a quiet Alaskan community. The Harbor House is perched high on a ridge overlooking the Alaska Range and Denali National Park.

Relax on the most scenic wraparound deck in the Denali borough! Admire mountain views and if you're lucky a glimpse of resident wildlife.

The Harbor house has two upstairs bedrooms. The master has new for 2025 medium firm queen bed and a comfortable twin memory foam roller bed. The smaller, second bedroom has a Medium firm queen memory foam bed. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, extra pillows and quality, organic cotton linens to help ensure a quality nights rest.

We are world travels and know the importance of a good night's rest. We are dedicated to creating a clean, comfortable space where our guests feel at home to relax.

*New for 2025…The living room is upgraded with an extremely comfortable custom-made Room and Board Italian leather sectional sofa and a 55 inch Samsung Frame Tv with Sonos sound bar.

Families with children are welcome, but our home is not child-proof.

We are passionate about Denali's wilderness and the community we live in. We would like our guests to enjoy visiting as much as we love living here.

You will have the ENTIRE house to yourself, a private gas fire pit, a BBQ grill and the best wrap around deck in Denali. The property is 2.5 acres. We live in a cabin on-site, but work full time. We respect your privacy. PLEASE email or text US if you need anything during your stay.

The Harbor House has a private 320 foot deep well. Our well water is tested, filtered and treated for hardness. There is an R/O system that makes delicious drinking water at a dedicated faucet in the kitchen.
We recommend purchasing trip insurance for your vacation in case of unforeseen cancellations.

Perfect Getaway to Denali

Four active seniors, enjoying hikes in Denali. A fantastic place to come home to, comfortable relaxation spaces and kitchen fully equipped for shared meals. Comfortable beds, great views, a wonderful place to create memories.

Harbour House the best place to land!

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful mountain home while we toured Denali National Park. The park itself was more than could have imagined. Denali Summit was visible for the first three days. We saw many moose and their calves, dall sheep and their lambs, caribou, porcupines, snowshoe hares, all within a few miles of the house. The house was beautiful inside and out, a cabin with colorful pillows, comfortable beds, a shower with great water pressure, a home away from home. Amazing!!

Couldn't have had a more wonderful place to stay! The porch, the comfort, the peaceful lixation, the lovely decor...you name it, it was GREAT! And the hosts were awesome; so helpful! The kitchen appliances and the "little things" available, oil, mustard, mayo, platic wrap, etc, so helpful.

Beautiful home with fantastic views of Denali. Home is set up with everything you need and a fully equipped kitchen with some initial supplies. Great base for our Denali adventures.

Amazing views

Mary and Aaron and lovely people and have opened their property to guests to share amazing views of the area. Kitchen was fully stocked with not just utensils but food and condiments as well. A great option for the Denali area !

Denali Visit

Unbelievable clean cabin with amazing views! 20 minutes from downtown Denali with great food, shops, and site seeing. We had such a blast celebrating our 21st Anniversary with my In Laws celebrating their 45th Anniversary!! Cabin was cozy and quite with everything we needed to feel like we were home.

Well appointed home with Beautiful Setting and stunning views

Loved the privacy and assess to Denali. The home was well stocked for anyone flying into the area. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch. The bedroom situation for 4 single adults was not ideal with one on the sofa sleeper for 2 nights. Not a problem for our short stay, but would have needed more space for a week.

Peaceful Denali Retreat

My father, husband, and I stayed here for two nights. It was so peaceful and quiet. About 20min drive from the town and park. The views everywhere were incredible. The beds/sheets were comfortable, black out shades and curtains, easy check-in/out. Host provided helpful directions and information (including where in town can find washer/dryer). Loved our stay and this beautiful house!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a group of 6 adults and it was our first time to Alaska! The house was lovely with great views! It was very clean and well stocked with everything you need! The light bulb went out in the downstairs bathroom and owners were prompt in getting it fixed. We cooked most of our meals here, and enjoyed a night of trivia as well! I definitely recommend this house!

Denali Trip with Family

4 night 5 day stay. This property vastly exceeded our expectations. Organized professional clean and very well stocked with all the amenities of home. If you forgot something it was there for your right down to a kitchen scale and dental floss as well birthday candles. The vista was beautiful and the grounds well clean. A remote feel of excellent quality. The families first and continued comments were “wow this place is incredible!” Thanks for the great time

Well appointed and very comfortable.

Loved the property, house and gas fire pit. Location and view were perfect. Only downside is that there not a washer and dryer, but Mary was quick to respond to our inquiry to let us know where we could do laundry. It was a bad assumption on my part that the house had a washer and dryer since most rental houses do. House had lots of spices and condiments and everything in a kitchen that was needed for cooking breakfast and dinners. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

A cozy and beautiful Denali getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Denali Harbor House. It was very comfortable and comforting to have such a warm and well-appointed home to return to after exploring Denali National Park during the day. The house has a large kitchen that we cooked several meals in after getting groceries in Healy. The TV setup has every streaming service imaginable. The house gets warmed quickly via a heater in the living room. And the view from the porch is pretty spectacular in clear days, with rolling hills and mountains in the distance. Communication with Mary was easy and she let us know when there was a brief Wi-Fi outage. She was a very gracious host and we would highly recommend staying at the Harbor House during your time in the Denali area.

Denali Dreams!!!!

The house was perfect for our family of three adults. It is a great place to stay near Denali NP and was as advertised or even better. Plenty of extras (sandwich bags, smore makings, bear spray to borrow - hopefully not having to be used, spices), plenty of pots and pans, lots of dishes, and the beds are comfortable. We ended up eating every meal at the house after spending the days out in nature. It saved us lots of money on food, etc. and was a welcome relief after hiking and viewing nature. The house is very quaint and it is obvious that a lot of care and love went into building it and decorating it with local artisan's crafts. Mary and Aaron were extremely easy to communicate with and responded almost within the hour (if needed). We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend The Harbor House to any families that are looking for a great place to escape, convenient to Denali NP, and the solitude of Alaska.

Fabulous and Magnificent

This is an exceptional property! The Harbor House is a wonderfully decorated large home that includes a front deck that provides breathtaking mountain views. Watch the weather and views change daily as you enjoy your coffee or favorite beverages in genuine peace and quiet. What a way to unplug! We stayed a week in late July and took full advantage of the deck's grill and the fire pit. The home is close to Denali National Park and just getting there and into nearby McKinley Park can be a fun adventure on its mountain road. Communication with our hosts was exceptional and we felt very appreciated during our entire stay. This is a first-class VRBO. We hope to return one day.
