"The staff were friendly however it took a long time to check in as there was only ome person,then i was dissapointed as id booked a superior room and the room definetley didnt represent this,there was no plug that fit for the bath no hair dryer .The hotel is lovely and has some great features but the rooms are very basic and tired and in need of a re vamp ,the bed was very large though"

"Lovely welcome at reception. Room clean and tasteful. Breakfast was great, standard buffet, but can request omelette of choice, and they're massive and wonderfully presented. Staff were great and we weren't pressured to leave. Was interesting to see brown bags available to take things away!! Parking is a short walk away and at a reduced rate £8 for 24 hours is great!! All in all would definitely recommend"

"I've stayed at the Stuart a number of times over the last 20 years and each time, it's slightly less good than the last. To be honest I'm not sure why it's in Best Western's portfolio; I think it needs a proper makeover. My colleague and I didn't eat in the hotel in the evening; the menu was basic and there was no atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty good, to be fair. The room was clean and comfortable, though the shower (room 125) was small and awkward; it didn't have an internal fan, and the door kept closing, which was annoying. All in all the whole place seems 'tired'; it really could be so much better."

"The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city centre and late ones back. I would stay here again, despite the negativees about the TV not working during my one night stay and having to park on gravel because all the proper parking spaces were taken. "

"I reseverd my room for 3 People and they sent me a message ok and confirmed arrived at the place said sorry no room for 3 because they gave my room to someone eles so i hade to ask to cancel and get my money back very mad"
