"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. "Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area."
