"I stayed overnight whilst on a business trip. Room was really good with all of the amenities that I needed. Friendly staff were very helpful. Food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Good atmosphere at night and in a good setting. If you usually use a budget hotel chain, try this place instead. Excellent value and I will definitely use again if I need a stopover in that area."

"A classic pub, the building is old but it is a lovely place to stay, 2 minute walk from the starcross train station. (which also has the ferry to Exmouth) The room was clean, bright and comfortable and the owners are very accommodating. Would happily stay here again"
