"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. "I booked this hotel for the gym and the pool but its very misleading as you the leisure centre is separate and you have to pay each time to use it. The room was basic but clean and staff were helpful. It is 40 minute walk from main shops but you are right on top of shaiin metro so easy to get around."
