Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach

2/10 Terrible

"To start, the room I selected and paid for was not the room that was delivered upon arrival. When I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, they offered to move me; however, the attendant assisting me, whose name I believe was Noloia, was dismissive and argumentative throughout the entire interaction. I later spoke with the manager, Dino, who was much more understanding and accommodating. While I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to help, the underlying issue was never fully resolved. Beyond that, room service and housekeeping were inconsistent, with cleaning being hit-or-miss during my stay. The breakfast offerings were bland and mediocre at best. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again and would caution others before spending their hard-earned money here. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations."

"We love this place and we would stay again love that they have complementary breakfast and the breakfast was delicious if we wouldn’t have had breakfast and had to purchase I think we would’ve spent more money going out and eating, but it was very delicious varied day by day coffee was very very good. Eggs different sausage types, potatoes, fruit, salad, they just have a big variety of things. The stay was absolutely amazing very comfortable beds. They even offered an extra bed like a twin and that helped a lot. They do have a laundry room in the basement and that came in handy after a seven day trip. we did get the balcony ocean view and that was nice to wake up to. The hotel is literally two minutes from the beach and they would offer us beach towels that was amazing. They do also have a pool which we also took advantage of. water and microwaves are available. water stations throughout the hotel was great. This place was amazing and would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone that is wanting a hotel with everything. the staff was very helpful very nice knowledgeable and always lending a hand. Would recommend this 1000%"

"I liked the location. The property and the beach were great. There was one particular front desk staff member who checked us in who was not clear on some important details regarding the resort fee and use of a 75 dollar credit that came with our room. The same agent also was unhelpful when it came to having our room cleaned. There were more amenities that we could have used at the resort but the same front desk staff member did not explain anything about that either. It really was the one staff member that brought the score down for the hotel. I know it's one person but the front desk is the face of a hotel and should be better."

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa

"The location was perfect, very close to the beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There's lots of construction going on inside the resort so prepare for scaffolding everywhere. Also the pool is soooo small. Another con is there are no microwaves in your room, and the resort does not have room service, so weird. I gave 3 stars because the rooms are outdated. Definitely needs to be repainted or wallpapered. On a positive note, the beds and linens are super comfy."

"Great location with the beach directly across the street. The parking was convenient, especially if you choose to park on the property. The amenities were comfortable, the rooms were cleaned daily, and there were plenty of food options nearby. Overall, everything was excellent, and we had a great stay. My only complaint was that the elevators were very slow and often took a long time to arrive. Other than that, everything was great."
