"I have stayed here for the past three years while I work on a trade show. We always stay for 9 nights so quite a long stay. This year was the first time I was disappointed as I had no TV for my whole stay as they couldnt fix it. I had to ask for the shower gel and toilet paper to be replenished as was not left on one of the morning cleans.Just small points but make quite a bit of difference. "The hotel is a little way from the town centre but is walkable. there is a local tram service directly in front of the hotel for moving around the town. It is a modern hotel with efficient self check-in, clean rooms with nice touch like the free bottle of water included and the staff were friendly and helpful. "Very comfortable rooms. We loved peaceful location - near the Aasee lake, with greenery around. A pleasant 20-minute walk into the town centre. The staff were very friendly & helpful, especially Agnes on the front desk, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast selection, including eggs cooked to order, & lovely range of breads. The bar was OK but rather lacking in atmosphere, especially for a late-evening drink."

"I was only in Bochum for a concert. The hotel seems rather new, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. I didn't know the red-light district was a block away, but there is no noise or spillover from that area. The breakfast is advertised as environmentally sustainable. It's a bit overpriced, but there are not a lot of breakfast options nearby. It's close to the shopping districts and a couple good breweries. They also sell alcohol in the lobby, reasonably priced."

"the receptionist was sullen when checking in. We booked 2 rooms, one of them had a coffee machine and one of them didn't. When we told the reception about this situation, some rooms have it and some don't. It means they don't have standards, but while they're advertising, the coffee machine appears to be in the room, so they're deceiving."

"I liked that just as the room looked in the photos, it was the same in reality (and I have visited quite a few hotels around the world), but it is often different. This is very good because it was clean and kept in very good condition. I was afraid of noise due to the location of the hotel, but there was none. I am really impressed with how well you can sleep (I will only add that I had an important meeting the next day). First contact with the reception and also a very positive impression....
