"We were 3 friends travelling along the Norwegian coast and stayed 2 nights as this very pleasant and quaint hotel. We enjoyed the buffet supper and excellent breakfast and thoroughly recommend this staying at this hotel. All the staff were very helpful and, bonus, supplied us with a takeaway breakfast on our last morning when we had an early start. The hotel was peaceful, central and close to everything we wanted to see - even close to the bus stop for our onward travel."

"Great spacious rooms with good sofa bed size for 2 kids. Breakfast was exceptional, with so much choice. Only change i would suggest is having children's swimming on until 11am as currently only open for kids to swim 8 to 10am and we felt clashes with main breakfast times. Or have a 5-7pm slot too. "

"This hotel takes me back in time.. not in my time.. I truly appreciate history and I love the decor of this hotel. Such careful attention was paid to the renovation to reflect the original build. We were even there for a Jazz Band and the only thing missing were retro costumes.. It could have been 1928. Very cool! The room was beautiful with lots of storage and the dinner options were amazing. Great places to eat right here at the hotel. It is a little off the path, but what fun it was to walk...

"Friendly and welcoming staff, superb breakfast to start the day off with, and so close to the centre of Tromso. Unfortunately the sky bar was closed over the time we went. Also we were given an upgrade for a room with a view, which was a nice touch."

"The bed was the most comfortable bed at a hotel that I've ever stayed in. The hotel was central so walking around, you could find anything. The hot tub is NOT INCLUDED. It cost about $50 usd per person for 30 mins. The staff was amazing save one interaction I had. I was going for Fika and the coffee/tea station didn't have any tea so I asked the front desk lady if it's moved or just all gone. She said its over there in the machine.
