"The stairs were narrow, but my room was spacious! The staff was very helpful, and there was someone on duty behind the desk to answer any questions, no matter what time of day. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was bright and clean, and the view out the front facing windows was unbeatable."
"Clean room, helpful staff, good location! Easy to walk to everything from here. If you come during the World Cup, like we did, bring ear plugs to avoid disturbance from late night revelry in the streets. The pillows are too flat and the comforter/duvet was too heavy for the summer weather (even though the air conditioning works well and is adjustable). Otherwise very comfortable. Would stay there again but for those two items!"
"We loved this hotel. Great location away from the busy city centre but still had restaurants nearby. We stayed in Oxford for the British Grand Prix weekend and did not have a lot of time to explore Oxford but really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Staff were wonderful and so friendly. I wish I had gotten the name of the sweet front desk lady because she always remembered mine and cheerfully greeted me whenever we returned from our busy day out. I have to give Josh a shout out who very early one morning provided me with a tray of coffee to take to my room since my fiancé and I decided to skip breakfast to get an early start to Silverstone. Very kind of him and he even offered to carry it upstairs to our room, although I declined as I didn’t want to put him out too much. Our room was the Trinity deluxe room. It was huge! I loved being able to open the windows for a cool breeze. Even with the windows open there was very little street noise. The amenities were wonderful. I always love having a robe and slippers provided. There was a small fridge in the room and an oscillating fan which was definitely needed since our stay was during a particularly warm summer weekend. The breakfast buffet seemed a little overpriced so for our last three mornings we went across Banbury Rd to a delicious little bakery called Barefoot for the best fresh cinnamon rolls and coffees. For lunch/dinner, The Rose and Crown pub on the same alleyway. We had Sunday roast at the lodge and loved it! 5 stars! :)"
"Unfortunately there was no parking available for me. Staff told us it is on first come basis. Had to park 2 blocks away which was not great. Tiny room but comfortable. No space to open medium suitcase. Everything was clean. It was not good value for money this time as it was on a F1 weekend."
