Top Exeter College Hotel Reviews
The Store
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot with many great features!"
Malmaison Oxford
10/10 Excellent
"Upon arrival at malmaison we were ushered up to the front of the hotel were our car was then parked for us, leaving us to take our bags and check in. On entering Malmaison you are struck immediately with how much work has gone into redesigning the prison into the hotel it has now become, check in was smooth and efficient, the staff very welcoming, we were given our room cards and encouraged to enjoy our sentence with them for the duration of our stay, this put at ease straight away. We were locked up on the fifth floor and found our room to be spacious and cosy, plenty of hanging space for our clothes, with the usual tea/ coffee etc to be sufficient for our needs, the biscuits and chocolates were a nice touch. The bar staff were welcoming with nothing being too much trouble, they were very knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving, Jed served us our first drink and was so polite and engaging. We didn’t stay for breakfast or meals as we prefer to explore the surrounding area. On the whole it was a very enjoyable experience."
George Street Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent helpful staff, beautiful room, comfortable bed but the pillows were flat as pancakes. Tight squeeze between the wall and bed. Gorgeous bathroom with AC and elevator 💗"
Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre
8/10 Good
"The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the central location"
Wadham College Oxford
10/10 Excellent
"The room was neat and clean. It was a quiet and peaceful room. I loved staying there. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It was well-organised and fresh. The staff at the reception and also in the breakfast hall were kind, supportive and friendly."
Vanbrugh House Hotel
8/10 Good
"A nice historic room (suite). Clean, tidy, plenty of space and nice outdoor courtyard area. Excellent location. The shower could do with attention - water pressure is very low!"
The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay at this grand old hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Gave me some tooth care kits when I realised I'd forgotten my toothpaste. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable with everything I could possibly need. Only slight issue was the tv functionality wasn't great, a few channels didn't work and casting wasn't working at all, but nothing major. If you are here to see the sights of oxford it's perfectly positioned for walking, public transport, shops, even a cinema. Lots of restaurants very close and the Ashmoleum is directly opposite. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thank you"
Old Bank Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I chose this hotel based on its location and other reviews and was not disappointed. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff - we arrived before check-in time but were offered a complimentary coffee before we headed back out again after leaving our cases. When we returned, our cases were already in our room and were shown around our room. An à la carte breakfast is provided in the Quod restaurant which we made use of every day. Home made biscuits, fresh milk, ground coffee, tea and bottled water in our room were replaced every day. The air conditioning was excellent - so simple to operate as well. There is an optional 5% service charge on check out but I had no qualms at all in paying this as the staff are so brilliant at making this hotel so special. We will certainly choose to stay here again should we return to Oxford in future."
The Buttery Hotel
8/10 Good
"What a great location! It was very hot and even without AC we were comfortable as the fan provided was quiet and effective. The only reason it didn't get all 5 stars are the steps needed to climb to get into the hotel. That said it is Oxford and we hope to stay there again."
