"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

"My 4th stay at the Shah. The staff are as good as you can get (Thank you).I stayed 3 nights.The 1st 2 nights in room 6... nice double room.Amazing powerful shower and a huge bed. The 3rd night I was in room 9~a single room.I think it was near or over the kitchen,there was some sort motor running all night.maybe the fridge or freezer..it was load enough to keep me awake. The food was very good pub grub and large portions. "

Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and early morning shower was the best power shower I've experienced, an excellent start to the day, followed by an well presented and deliciously cooked full English breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!!"

"Perfect property for our trip with teens, grandparents, extended family and our 2 well behaved dogs. Wonderful space, facilities and views. Host very attentive and excellent communication. We needed somewhere we could access with a wheelchair abd this property was well designed for easy access, a lift and multiple wet rooms. "We had a lovely long weekend at the Piddle Inn. Downstairs is just like a pub - all for us! Bar, games room and pub kitchen fantastic for a family group. Gorgeous bedrooms and the sound of the stream at night. Lovely walks straight from the back and Alan the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly."
