"Amazing local feel with local owner/operators. Extremely clean and stunning veiws of Dover. Great homade breakfast and super helpful with information about the area. Best place to stay without exception!"
"John, the host, was very welcoming and gave us detailed information about Dover and recommended various places to eat. It was a perfect location, close to Dover Castle, the White Cliffs, and the city center. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable."
"A very old house renovated to be a guest house. On the corner next to White Horse Pub and just down the hill from Dover Castle. Location is great. Narrow stairs to each room. Well-cared for property. We were treated very well. "
"I had booked and paid through Hotels.com. But that was not accepted at check-in, and I had to pay once more. I have reached out to both the hotel and hotels.com, but neither will refund the double payment"
"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
"One of the top two places I stay at around the whole of the south east of England truly fantastic comfortable amazing food so friendly and welcoming all the time"
"To say this place is 1 star would be too generous.Turned up to front door to be greeted by 2 guests comparing bites they got from their beds and be told leave your valuables in the car as it would be safer.Your and said air conditioning but what we got was 3 open windows.Mattress was disgusting as was bathroom."
"Wonderful room, fantastic food, lovely staff all in a great location overlooking the sea. Within easy walking distance to Folkestone lanes and the harbour arm."
"Ich würde hier nicht wieder buchen. Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen bei Weitem nicht der Realität. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Das Zimmer riecht sehr unangenehm und das Bad ist einfach ungepflegt. Gut ist die Lage mit großem Parkplatz, das war’s auch schon. Man kommt ins Zimmer rein, Fenster ist offen, Ventilator läuft und es riecht unangenehm. Was soll man da als Gast etwas positives schreiben?"

"This hotel was a little out of the way, so you’ll have to use taxis for
Transport. They were very accommodating when we arrived early and they got us all checked in. The property was well maintained and the room was a nice size. The staff were helpful and managed all us cruise passengers even though there was a lot of us. I would stay here again. Dover is a beautiful town. "
"I really enjoyed my stay, the place was clean ,the bed was comfy and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. He even drove us to the port after waiting for our taxi for a while. He even took time to look for my prescription glasses and brought it back to the port for me.
The breakfast was included and there was a lot of choices with fresh fruits too!"
"We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. Great location, very warm and friendly atmosphere. All the places recommended to us in the area were great and we had a fantastic stay!
Would highly recommend."
