"We had a hard time finding our room as the outside lights were not on. The place is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast staff was very nice and food was good."

"There is no communication from the host in a town that has no Wi-Fi. No one was home to answer the door or greet us when we got there. So he stood there a little confused, not knowing what to do until we eventually saw a piece of paper around the corner that said the keys were in the door. Once we got in and put our stuff down, we were quite comfortable. I actually enjoyed that there was no Wi-Fi or TV or even an electric clock. It’s exactly what my body needed. To sit down with a glass of wine and my mother to reconnect and have some quality one-on-one time. I think I would have appreciated a little information as to what restaurants were in this tiny town since I had never been here before. It wasn’t hard to find, and we had an amazing meal down the road. I would definitely come back."

"We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and the bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was that we arrived after dark and it’s so dark up there that it was hard to read the signs. But once we were settled in, it was amazing!"

"Only recommendation to anyone staying there is go before it gets dark. Very easy during the day but took us a while to find the address. Once we did, very easy. Everything was so comfortable and roomy. The house is much bigger than I expected and the game room had everything one would need to have a good time. Kitchen had all the dishes and utensils anyone could want. All the things you forget to bring were there for you. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay and I will be going back. Thank you Lisa for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home."
Best View in Downieville! Close to Town, trails and river.

"Definitely the best view in Downieville. The driveway is quite steep. Yes, the host warns you of that fact but driving up and down it is an experience. The price per night was quite reasonable compared to the prices in town. One thing though, we felt the shower was tiny. You could barely turn around. The water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water."

"The perfect hidden gem nestled into the mountains!we went to a wedding in graeagle and this was such a better rental experience then what was available nearby. Great hikes all around and a quiet and private stay."
