We got a hot tub patio room. Views were sick. Room was big. Wasn’t the cleanest. Property is aging and aging poorly at that. The hot tub is just a jetting tub. And while we were sitting out on the patio concrete chunks came loose and fell 3 floors. Luckily we weren’t hit but still kinda surreal experience. I collected some of the pieces and gave them to the front desk. Their response was that they have someone fixing it. However the fix I saw was them just knocking loose the rest of the loose concrete. The beach doesn’t have beach loungers but beach bean bags. The location couldn’t be better. The double pools are great.

The Seadust Cancun was a nice property, and several staff members were very sweet and helpful to us during our stay. We enjoyed many of the restaurants (the Mexican was my favorite but note it is only open for lunch). Our standard room was huge and very clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean even though we didn't pay the extra $600 for an ocean view. The rooms were very cool and at night, the entire inside of the resort was much cooler than during the day. It had a fun club on the 2nd floor that we enjoyed. Elevators worked great and didn't take too long (we were on the 10th floor). What I didn't like was that you were not allowed to have your drink in the pool. Everything was plastic and when you are in the pool just hanging out, it is fun to have a drink but it was NOT allowed. Even keeping your drink on the side of the pool was a no-no. The sargasm was horrible and they did not have it cleaned up on the beach as other hotels did. The sargasm was not the hotel's fault of course, however, there was not a lot of beach front to clean up and it would have been nice if they had. If you sit in a beach chair, note the cabanas obstruct your beach view. There was no beach bar as several videos showed. Other than that, for the price we paid, it was a very nice vacation. We enjoyed the north Cancun beaches that had zero sargasm and loved those days. For the price, we would go here again.

Our group stayed at Royal Solaris, Cancun to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The resort itself is spotless! clean rooms, beautiful pool areas, and well‑maintained facilities. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Edgar was exceptionally amazing; his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made a huge difference for our family. We needed a small private space for a birthday gathering, and not only did the team accommodate us, they provided even more than we expected. Lupita and Alan were also incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our celebration special. Across our seven rooms, every member of staff we encountered was helpful, friendly, and ready to assist at any moment. Their hospitality was breathtaking and deeply appreciated. The resort gave us a beautiful experience, unforgettable memories, and a celebration that felt complete. We will definitely be visiting again.
