Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Built in 1818, this detached holiday cottage, a former chapel school room, stands adjacent to the owners’ working arable and livestock farm and provides a cosy rural retreat with scenic walks from the doorstep. Bird lovers can enjoy the close proximity to Tophill Low Nature Reserve and other reserves situated in the Yorkshire Nature Triangle including RSPB Bempton, Spurn Point and North Cave Wetlands. There are water sports activity centres at Billabong and Fosse Hill, golf at Hainsworth Park and fishing available locally. Visit the stately homes at Burton Agnes, Burton Constable and Sewerby Hall and enjoy the Yorkshire Wolds scenery which inspired the famous Hockney paintings. The market town of Beverley with its 13th-century minster and renowned racecourse is just 12 miles away and the coastal resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough, the North Yorkshire Moors and the city of York are all easily accessible.
