The guest directly above my room dragged their chair over the solid wood floor several times, which was irritating, but hardly the hotel’s fault. Good value though, which coming from a Yorkshireman, is high praise…"

"I don’t often write reviews but feel compelled to here. After a long day of driving from Culloden, we hit the brunt of Storm Amy in the dark before we ever hit the Skye bridge. After what felt like a lifetime in 90+ mph winds we finally got to the hotel and felt like we were walking into a friends house. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They shuffled us over to the pub next door for a warm meal and a cold beer (the food is excellent), took our bags to our rooms for us, and checked in on us while the storm passed to make sure we were comfortable. They absolutely went above and beyond at every step. The next couple of days were incredible. Breakfast is top notch, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the location is amazing. We ate at the pub each night and they were some of the best meals of our trip. We will absolutely be back. "
