Good: Place is quite modern with a well-appointed kitchen, good AV set-up, lots of lighting, and water pressure and hot water like I've probably never seen before. Location is good, being right in a popular area of Dublin. Tons of shopping and eateries. Cleaning staff is friendly. Pictures and short biographies of iconic Irish personalities on the outside of each room door is a great touch.
Bad: The noise from the hallway and other rooms is basically insufferable. Nothing to be concerned about during the day, but at night, oh man. The room above us sounded like a herd of elephants over a couple of particular nights (at 3 am!). The door does nothing to repel noise from the hallway (slamming doors, loud voices, etc.).
Ugly: Management was nice in trying to resolve noise issues in the beginning. When our patience was worn thin, we inquired whether we could get a refund for unstayed nights and move out. Suddenly, no response. Even Orbitz couldn't help, so we gave up and stayed for the two-week duration.
Conclusion: If sleep is not your thing and you enjoy listening to nocturnal human mammals with no consideration for others no matter the time, this is your place. Otherwise, you might want to give it a pass.
