The room was nice and clean, no fridge in the room but for the price i can't complain. the bus stop just outside the building so fast easy and cheap to get around and enjoy Edinburgh.

The Abbotsford guest house was run down and in need of renovations. Did not know before I booked I would be sharing a shower and toilet with the whole floor. Very uncomfortable! There was also no breakfast available. It said it was being remodeled. I actually never saw a host on my visit. The location was good, but the lodging was poor.

"Stayed for 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast superior double room with view. Lovely room good meals, been to several hotels in Pitlochry but this is probably the best for value and service as long as your ok with a walk uphill from the town which is under 10 minutes"

"The staff were very nice and helpful, however the facility was old and in a bit of disrepair, which can be charming if the price were not so high. Pitlochry is a wonderful but expensive little town so this was not unexpected."
