The other problem I would point out is that, iagain if you’re struggling with walking ,or require the aid of a stick or other walking aid there’s a lot of stairs to reach some of the rooms. My husband did struggle with them. Ideal for a one night stop over."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Carberry Tower Mansion. The staff was kind, attentive, and always happy to help. The surroundings were beautiful and spotless, and our room was absolutely gorgeous, with a lovely view of the gardens. The bed was also very comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful little details in the bathroom, including the shaving kit, toothbrushes, and toiletry kit. The note mentioning that our suite had once been the nursery of Queen Mary and Princess Margaret was also such a special touch. We also made a reservation at the restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. Our dinner was excellent! Overall, we truly loved our stay. Our only small disappointment was that our Lothian Suite did not have air conditioning, so the room was quite warm at night. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we would happily stay again!"
