Lovely wee village, especially the older parts. Now that it has its new railway station, it is so easily connected both to Edinburgh and right down to London.

A very cute little village where we have stayed before. Close to lots of activities.
"Pleasant, welcoming and fit for purpose. Condition of communal area tatty and bathroom could be cleaner. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and great to have Sainsburys and bus stop near by. Superb for park and Arthur's seat, access to Royal Mile and train station. All in all - I would stay again. Price reflects accomodation and clearly states it is not a hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh."
"Professional, warm and friendly welcome by the man on reception. Ate in the restaurant which was very good value & excellent food. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again. "

Very convenient bus stop down the street. Top-notch staff are attentive and there's a chic bar area for a night cap."
